Veteran Channel Executive Joins AireSpring as Director of Business Development
Steve Boalt to Drive AireSpring’s Expansion with VARs and MSPs
CLEARWATER, FL – December 18th, 2024 – AireSpring, a leading global managed services provider that designs and deploys customized managed IT, connectivity, networking, security, mobility, and unified communications solutions, today announced the appointment of Steve Boalt as Director of Business Development. In his new role, Steve will focus on strengthening and expanding AireSpring’s relationships with value-added resellers (VARs) and managed services providers (MSPs).
With more than 30 years of experience in the telecom and IT industries, Steve brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record in the channel. Most recently, he spent five years as the Director of Sales for two separate MSPs with a focus on regional and global solutions. He has held senior channel sales roles at major organizations, including Strategic Account Manager at Spectrum Enterprise, and Director of Business Development at ScanSource, where he specialized in enabling VARs and MSPs to grow through innovative channel strategies. His career also includes leadership positions at Avaya and Bell Labs Lucent Technologies (now Nokia Bell Labs), where he spearheaded new channel revenue streams and channel partner engagement with Service Providers and CLECs. Steve’s experience spans hardware, software, and best-of-breed as-a-service solutions; he began his career at AT&T as a Senior Account Executive in South Florida where he managed sales of advanced networking services.
